Today Ngahere is learning about Dick Frizzell. We are learning about him because he is a New Zealand artist and for Paroa schools Kiwiana Christmas parade. We are doing Dick Frizzels pukeko in a ponga tree illustration. Then I had too choose my favourite artwork of his and paint it myself.I enjoyed painting it because I was allowed to add lots of bright colour.
I found it challenging trying to figure out what painting I should choose and what colours to mix to make other colours.
