Rounding Numbers

Hello. Today Mack and I have made a video about rounding numbers. If you watch this please say if it helped you and what we should do next. I enjoyed doing this because I could learn something new and show others how to do it. I found this challenging because it was hard at first but then I found out how to do it.
 

Hot and cold art

my class and I made this cool hot and cold art. I enjoyed doing this because I could make my person anything that I wanted so I chose basketball. I also enjoyed doing this because I could choose any colour I want. I found this challenging because it took a long time to make and it was hard to stay in the lines using pastel.

Today I made a blog post about the 10 great walks inNew Zealand. I enjoyed doing this because I didn't know any of these before I did this slide. I found this challenging because I wasn't sure what to write at first but then It got easier.

Solar Energy

 

Me and my friend Zakaia have made a solar energy inquiry for our presentation. I enjoyed doing this because I learnt a lot about solar energy that I didn't know before. I found this challenging because there were a lot of good facts to choose from.

Wonder Jackdaw

 For my class's novel studies each group did a different book my group read the wonder book this is my jackdaw for the book. I enjoyed doing this because the book was pretty interesting and it was fun putting the characters and stuff like that. I found this challenging because it took a while to finish because I wasn't sure what to write.

Dixon house

Dixon house

On Tuesday Paroa school went to the Dixon house to have a chat with and for national read a story month. When we got on the bus I was excited but when we got there I was a little bit nervous because I have never met them before. When we walked in everyone went over to someone and started having a chat with them and reading them a book. When I was walking around I saw this man by himself so I went and read him a book. After I read him the book everyone went and got some food, they had lolly cake, caramel slice, biscuits and more. After we ate we said thank you to everyone then went back onto the bus.

How it made me feel? When I first got there I was nervous because I have never met any of them before but then after a bit, I felt good because I and everyone else could make everyone's days better and read them some books. Then I went up to this man and introduced myself. It felt good when I started reading to him because he was interested in the book.

What I enjoyed the most? The thing that I enjoyed the most was reading to the people because it made my day and their day as well. I also enjoyed watching other people read and listening to them read because it made me feel good that they are having a good time.

What I learnt from it? Something that I learnt from going to the Dixon
house was how to talk to strangers and I also learnt how old people can still communicate with the younger generation very well.

Norway Facts

 

Today For current events I did mine on Norway. I enjoyed doing this because I didn't know anything about Norway and now I know a lot more facts about the country. I found this challenging because there were a lot of really good facts that I could choose.

Croatia Facts

 

Today for current events I made a google drawing about Croatia. I enjoyed doing this because I didn't know any facts about Croatia before I did this. I found this challenging because There were a lot of good facts to write about.

Poppy growing

 

Today I made a google slide about how poppies grow I did this for Anzac. I enjoyed doing this because it was a cool animation and I also like it because it taught me how poppies grow. I found this challenging because it took a while to make it.

War Poster

Today I made a war poster telling how you should join. I enjoyed doing this because I find it very interesting and I can be creative. I found this challenging because I didn't know what to write at first but then I thought of writing.

Morse Code

 

Today I made Morse Code. I enjoyed doing this because it taught me how to do something that I didn't know how to do before. I found this challenging because it took a long time to put all the morse code into the doc.

Current Events

 

Today for my current events I did mine about Sweden. I enjoyed doing this because this showed me a lot of facts that I did not know before. I found this challenging because it was hard to find facts.

J.N Digital Dig

 

Today I made a Digital dig. I enjoyed doing this because I found out about a lot more shortcuts. I found this challenging because it took a long time to figure out all of the shortcuts and to get used to using them and remembering them.

A.N.Z.A.C Photo Montage

 

Today I made a photo montage about the war. I enjoyed doing this because it was very interesting and I found out a lot more facts. I found this challenging because there were lots of good photos that I could have put in.

NBA Facts

Today I made a mini-research about NBA. I enjoyed doing this because I really like basketball and I enjoyed looking at the facts because there were really interesting. I found this challenging because there were a lot of good facts to choose from.
 

Podcast

Today my friend Harley and I made a podcast about our solar panels that we made. I enjoyed doing this because it was really fun recording it. I found this challenging because I wasn't sure what to say at first but then I found out.

For my T-shaped literacy, we had to make a building in the school where we think would need energy. I enjoyed doing this because we could make something cool. I found this challenging because it took a while to make because we had to measure everything to make sure it fit.

 Today Harley and I made a paper airplane launcher showing potential and kinetic energy. I enjoyed doing this because it turned out to work really good. I found this challenging because it was hard to make the launcher.

Tidy Drive

 

Today for tuhi mai tuhi atu I tidied my drive. I enjoyed doing this because it is esier to find my things now. I found this challenging because it took a while moving everything to the right folder.

Today I made about brainstorm about solar and wind energy and their differences. I enjoyed this because I found out about a lot of new things. I found this challenging because it was hard to think of the differences.

Energy Mobiles

 Today My class made energy mobiles. I enjoyed doing this because it showed me a lot of different types of energy. I found this challenging because there were lots of ones that I could choose from and they were all really cool. Zakaia and I made this one.

Kawa of care

 

Today I made a Google drawing about the kawa of care. I enjoyed doing this because it will help people and stop them from eating near their Chromebook. I found this challenging there were a lot of good reasons.
